Date:May 22nd, 2008
The Vintage Radio and Communications Museum of Connecticut (chamber member and 501(c) non profit organization) is holding a book discussion Thursday, May 22 at 7:30. Regional author Seth Shulman will discuss his new book, 'The Telephone Gambit... Chasing Alexander Graham Bell's Secret'. Shulman challenges Bell's claim to have invented the telephone. Working with Bell's own journals and other writing, Shulman portrays Bell as an ambitious young man, blinded by love for his fiancee into allowing her unscrupulous father to mislead him. Attendance is free. Light refreshments. The museum is located at 115 Pierson Lane, Windsor. For more information visit their website: www.vrcmct.org or call 683-2903.
