Cirillo Theatre Musical
The Cirillo Summer Theatre's junior division will present a double dose of musical theatre this weekend. The opening act is 'Recess,' a shorter musical comedy show about the trials and tribulations of substitute teaching. The second act is 'Kids on Broadway,' a cabaret style show in which the students, ages 8 - 14, will entertain audiences with songs and dance numbers from Broadway hits such as 'Annie' and 'Les Miserables.' The event takes place at the L. P. Wilson Community Center on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1 at 7:30pm. A matinee performance is scheduled for Saturday, August 1 at 1:00pm as well. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $5 for students/sr. citizens and may be purchased at the door.
