First Thursday in Windsor

The Windsor Chamber of Commerce, First Town Downtown and Windsor Businesses are offering specials, entertainment and events on the First Thursday of each month. Some specials and activities are from 5-7 PM (or later),

Windsor Art Center at the Freight House - Kicking off the two week Student Art Exhibit featuring works by Windsor High School student artists will be the trio "No Comment." WHS students Ariel Bellvalaire, guitar and vocalist; Aaron Ridgeway, bass guitar; and Mike Wood, drums, will perform rock selections including original pieces such as Why, Wait Here For You, Story of a Life, and The Other Side of You. This group has performed around the area including The Main Pub at Manchester Community College, Epoch Arts Center, and Rham High School.

Windsor Public Library - Movie Night: "It Happened One Night", starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert. This is the award winning comedy that taught the world how to hitchhike correctly! The meeting room doors will open at 6:30 and the movies will start promptly at 7PM.

Windsor Historical Society -The Society's main building will be open free of charge from 4 - 7 p.m. This will be the public's last chance for a free viewing of the Society's exhibition Camera Crazy: Photographers of Windsor 1885-1930. The exhibition features the work of five late-19th century photographers who turned their cameras on Windsor.
