Free Portrait Demonstration by Debra Dunphy, from 6:45 to 8:30 PM on Tuesday, April 13 at the L.P. Wilson Community Center, sponsored by the Windsor Palette & Brush Club. This award-winning artist will paint a portrait in oils. Her background includes over 15 years of teaching experience and solo exhibits in local arenas. Debra provides instruction in painting and drawing using oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal, and pen and ink. She teaches at the Dunphy Art Studio at the Canal Gallery, and the Holyoke Creative Arts Center. See some of her portraits on her website at http://www.dunphyartstudio.com. The demonstration is free and refreshments will be served.

The Windsor Palette and Brush Club was organized in 1960 and is now sponsored by the Town of Windsor's Department of Recreation and Leisure Services. Members' art work is currently on display through the month of April at the Windsor Town Hall, where it can be viewed anytime Monday through Friday during Town Hall business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or whenever there is an evening meeting there. In addition to its Spring and Fall exhibits, the club holds free monthly artist demonstrations at the L.P.Wilson Community Center. It is open to anyone interested in art.
