August 7 - "Johnny Appleseed Goes a Planting" read by Cheif Kevin Searles at 12:30PM
"Read on the Green Grass" is a program to promote literacy in young children. At each "Read on the Green Grass" there will be a read aloud followed by a healthy snack.
The program has been very successful due to the generosity of the following businesses:
Branford Hall, Bill Selig Foundation, Carmon Funeral Homes, Day Hill Dental, Ellsworth Medical, LLC, Konica Minolta Business Solutions, Law Office of Cori-Lynn Webber, Oliver Ellsworth Parent Center, Windsor Community Service Council, Windsor Federal Savings, and the Yellow Cab Company
