Senior Health Fair & Flu Shots
The Senior Health Fair with the Flu & Pneumonia Shot Clinic will be held at the Senior Center on Thursday, October 7, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Windsor residents age 50 and over will be able to receive their seasonal flu shot and/or pneumonia shot. Free health screenings and services offered by our local business community at the Health Fair will include blood pressure checks, vision screening, hearing tests, blood sugar or cholesterol testing, ear wax removal, Reiki sessions, chair massages and much more. Over 30 vendors will provide free giveaways and refreshments will be available for purchase at the Bake Sale table. Flu Shots are covered for eligible seniors by Medicare and some insurances. Cost is $25 without accepted insurance and $40 for pneumonia shot. Please bring your Medicare card and insurance cards with you. Call Windsor Flu Info Line at 860-285-1883 for information. The Windsor Senior Center is located at 599 Matianuck Avenue.
