(HHP) located in Windsor Center is sponsoring FREE Tai Chi classes during the entire month of August. Classes will be held on the Town Green in front of the Town Hall. Kathleen N. Mueller, M.D. and Jane I. Walker, M.D., HHP owners are excited to bring this ancient Chinese art form to Windsor residents.

Four years ago these Family Medicine practitioners expanded their practice to include acupuncture and hypnosis. Drs. Walker and Mueller believe that good medicine requires an understanding of the whole person. Increasingly, the studies show and our patients recognize that they play a pivotal role in managing their own health and well-being. People all over the world practice Tai Chi daily as a means of reducing stress and anxiety, promoting balance and flexibility, and enhancing well-being. Tai Chi, an ancient martial art combines breathing techniques, meditation and body movements, performed in slow motion. We hope young and mature residents come together on our beautiful town Green to participate in this unique, ongoing event, said Dr. Walker.

A certified Tai Chi instructor will convene classes during the month of August on:

Tuesday morning 7:00-8:00am
Thursday evenings 6:00-7:00pm
