On Tuesday, May 13, Vernon artist Judy Moakler will present a watercolor / mixed-media demonstration on "painting with texture", from 7:15 to 9:30 PM in the Art Room at the L.P. Wilson Community Center, sponsored by the Windsor Palette & Brush Club. Her approach involves using different objects to make impressions on watercolor paper.

A graduate of UMass, Judy has won many awards, both in Connecticut and in Florida, where she paints and teaches watercolor in the winter. She is an active member in art Associations in both states.

The demonstration will follow a brief business meeting. It is open to everyone, and refreshments will be served. Call 688-1084 for more information
