FREE WATERCOLOR DEMONSTRATION

On March 11 at 7:15 pm, Enfield artist William Hoey will show how to create a watercolor painting on Yupo paper. The Windsor Palette and Brush Club will sponsor the free art demonstration from 7:15 to 9:30 pm at the L.P.Wilson Community Center. Mr. Hoey has been painting and sketching for a number of years in oils and watercolors, and is now experimenting with a plastic paper called Yupo, where the paint is not absorbed as it is on regular water color paper.

Born in Scotland, Hoey studied Technical Illustration at Glasgow School of Art. He has won many awards and prizes in art shows around New England. His barn painting has been chosen for the cover of the Reminder phone book.
