Attorney Lynette Mendoza Villa was born and raised in Windsor. She has been practicing law for 24 years, with a primary concentration on residential and commercial real estate. She started practicing in 1998 at Brown, Paindiris & Scott, LLP at their Hartford and Glastonbury locations. She worked at Schulman & Associates before she became the owner and managing partner of the Law Offices of Lynette Mendoza Villa, located in the center of this beautifully diverse town. She subsequently joined the law offices of O’Malley, Deneen, Leary, Messina & Oswecki. Due to the growing need of Spanish speaking attorneys in Hartford County, she now currently works at The Crumbie Law Group in downtown Hartford. It is incredibly important to her that the Spanish speaking community have proper legal representation in order to achieve their dreams of home and business ownership. She maintains a satellite location within William Raveis in Windsor, CT, as she did not want to give up her Windsor roots! Her father, also a Windsor resident, is the Executive Director of the Spanish American Merchants Association in Hartford, CT. As a result, Lynette grew up surrounded by businesses and local merchants. She developed a passion for economic development and has worked with local businesses all over the state since the beginning of her professional career. As a result, she received an award from the SBA for her community service and involvement with local merchants. She is deeply passionate about helping people and her community.
On a personal level, she attended the Windsor school system from kindergarten through her Senior year at Windsor High School. She received her bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph College, now known as the University of Saint Joseph, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut, School of Law. She currently resides in Windsor with her supportive husband and two beautiful children. She is grateful to each and every person in town that has supported her both personally and professionally throughout the years.
