The January Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours was held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Your CBD Store located at 1065 Kennedy Rd, Suite B in Windsor. This networking event took place from 5:30-7:00 PM.

The November Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours was held on Wednesday, November 16 at TLD ACE Corporation located at 770 Bloomfield Ave. in Windsor. This networking event included a great tour of the facility and presentation. Through a very extensive Worldwide Sales and Service network, TLD provides a wide range of equipment designed and manufactured in facilities around the World, Aviation Ground Support Equipment globally. TLD offered a raffle prize of a free round trip airline ticket on Delta, to anywhere in the continental US!

The October Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours was held on Wednesday, October 19 at Windsor Fire EMS Facility located at 340 Bloomfield Ave. where there was a tour of the newly-renovated fire station and EMS headquarters. On display was memorabilia from decades of fire protection services.

The September Windsor Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours was held on Wednesday, September 21 at Windsor Community Television located at LP Wilson Community Center, 599 Matianuck Ave in Windsor from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Members and community enjoyed food, drinks, a raffle and networking. Jenny Hawran gave a talk about the workings of WIN-TV and its illustrious history.

Business After Hours is the perfect networking event. It’s a great way to familiarize more people with your establishment. The Programs Committee can help you plan the event if you wish.
Benefits to Hosting an After Hours
– Exposure: Get 15 – 50 people through your doors
– Free publicity: Announcements go out to the Windsor Journal, the Chamber News email newsletter, the Chamber online community calendar, the Metro Hartford online events calendar, etc.
Chamber members and their guests arrive around 5:30 PM and network over hors d’oeuvres provided by the host. The Chamber’s Program Committee chairperson then calls the event to order and attendees introduce themselves and briefly describe their business affiliation. The hosts offer a presentation about their business and guests tour the facility if appropriate. Winning raffle tickets are drawn and the networking continues. Don’t forget to have your brochures and business cards ready.
