Philip Feldberg, D.D.S. General Dentist, President/Owner – NEW ENGLAND DENTAL CENTER
During the summer of 1975, Phillip Feldberg was a graduate of the New York
University College of Dentistry and had just completed a two-year residency in
pediatric dentistry. Dr. Feldberg had a vision of settling in a community and
opening a practice to serve the dental needs of the area children. With his wife
Penny, they settled on the growing town of Windsor, Connecticut. One month
after arriving in Windsor, Dr. Feldberg opened his practice on Poquonock
Avenue.
As history would show, 1980 would turn out to be a pivotal year for Dr. Feldberg
and the town of Windsor. After traveling to California to visit multi-specialty
group practices, he realized the need to create a place that could provide a full
range of dental services to everyone in one location. On March 1st, 1980, New
England Dental Center was born. In conjunction with opening New England
Dental Center, Dr. Feldberg would go on to appear as “Doctor Happy Tooth” for
the next three years on the nationally syndicated TV show, PM Magazine.
Another milestone came around in 1987 when Dr. Feldberg moved the practice to its current location to better
serve the community. With multiple chairs, sixty-five hours of appointment times, and flexible scheduling, Dr.
Feldberg established a facility dedicated to providing patient-centered care. Staffed by a team of dental
professionals, New England Dental provides a culture of gentle understanding, creating a comfortable
environment for all ages to seek care.
