The Windsor Chamber Cares Auction, sponsored by Windsor Federal Savings Bank, brought back a bit of the “colorful” 1980s. It was a lively (and often funny) afternoon and evening, held at the Millbrook Club House on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 6 p.m. Seeing familiar faces was wonderful amid the zany antics of the crew.
The music from our totally gnarly DJ brought back 80s memories and was a great backdrop to the many silent auction items on display. The beverage bar was a hit, as were the amazing Live Auction items, such as the Destination Trip for Two on a private plane and location of one’s choice, the popular trip to South Africa with the photo safari, the Floral Bouquet for a Month for a year, Homemade Baked Goodies each month for a Year, and so many more wonderful items.
It was great to see friends, families, and neighbors, in-person mingling indoors, and the gorgeous outdoor grounds of the Clubhouse. As we neared the end of the live auction, we were treated to a phenomenally gorgeous sunset amid a perfect evening. The auctioneer kept everyone laughing, and all-in-all, the auction was a big success.
